I asked if I could make my own cake for my bridal shower my friend threw me. I had been itching to make a full cake and I, of course, love baking. My friend allowed me, so then I had to sit and think what was I going to make? My actual wedding cake is going to be an ombre purple, so I thought I’d try out something similar to that.
Here’s what it ended up looking like:

Navy blue cake! I made it a blue (red) velvet cake to make the cake in my wedding colors (navy blue and light purple).
Loved making it, and my mom has also requested a similar cake for my bridal shower closer to my wedding…
